How to apply it in 4 steps
For some people, the day changes completely if, as soon as they wake up, they look out the window and see a bright sun or grayish clouds announcing a strong storm. These people are defined as “meteopathic” because, as mentioned above, the climate can even change the mood of the entire day. But does this also apply in case of strong temperature changes? Of course yes and this is why especially in internal spaces, such as offices or homes, we want to be in a space of maximum comfort and therefore with an optimal temperature.
To overcome these problems we can use some tools such as the fan in the summer or the radiators in the winter. What we always recommend to our customers is the application of thermal plaster inside their homes.
Products to use
When for various reasons, which may be technical, aesthetic or economic, it is not possible to intervene from the outside, it is possible to install an internal thermal plaster which can be created using different types of materials. In particular, our company offers natural heat-insulating and sound-absorbing mineral plaster which is also eco-sustainable and biocompatible. This material is mainly composed of natural hydraulic lime NHL 5 and a mixture of expanded minerals. We formulated this mortar, called Scudotermico, after taking into consideration the observation of a famous architect of the past, Vitruvius.
The great architect, in his book entitled “De Architectura”, recounts “having seen, “in later Spain”, the use of “pumiceous” stones so light that the ashlars formed with them could be supported on water”.
How to apply it and for what purposes
The internal thermal plaster is very simple to use and its application is carried out in four main phases: the first is called Rinzaffo of the masonry with Rudus Rinzaffo, then we move on to plastering in layers with Scudotermico, then to the reinforced smoothing of the surface with Rasante 900 and finally the application of the breathable finish by Calchèra San Giorgio.
This product is particularly suitable for green building, energy requalification interventions of old buildings and for the creation of internal and external thermal insulating base plasters.
