The consolidation of wall structures

Structural consolidation of historic walls in restoration and sustainable construction, through the use of natural mortars, similar and compatible with the materials used in the past.

Very often, historic walls have voids and internal discontinuities that have existed since the origins of the construction, or formed due to disruptions of various kinds. These discontinuities constitute interruptions in the material of the wall structures, causing problems of loss of adhesion and mutual collaboration between construction parts (bricks, stones, etc.) and consequent reduction in the mechanical resistance of the whole, especially if subjected to an increase in loads .

Structural reinforcement by injection

Pozzolanic lime mortar for the structural consolidation of walls by injection composed of a totally hydraulic binder, obtained by cold mixing selected aerial lime with a high content of calcium hydrate and micronized natural pozzolans, with different specific surface areas and energy (Lime Pozzolanica Pantheon), mixed with carbonate fillers and expansive elements to control plastic shrinkage, with resistance to compression compatible with the nature of the historic wall facing.

Class M10 according to the UNI EN 998-2 standard.

Boiacca Iniezione 100® ” is a pre-packaged mortar adequately fluidized, with the aim of being injected easily and effectively without producing negative chemical interference with the original construction material or with any other materials introduced subsequently during the restoration works.

  • It does not modify the breathability of the masonry, thus avoiding condensation phenomena.
  • Compatible with any type of historic masonry.
  • Avoid the formation of mold and bacteria by preserving the plaster and any painted decorations present.
  • Free from water-soluble salts, free lime or any form of clinker.
  • Structural reinforcement by injection of stone, brick, tuff and mixed masonry.
  • Compensation for cracks that are no longer active.
