Maso Calchèra San Giorgio – 11 May 2024
An overview of the evolution and techniques of the Japanese garden, ranging from arid landscapes of stone gardens, to walks in picturesque gardens, to internal gardens in courtyards and “borrowed scenes” from distant landscapes.
Thomas Daniell, full professor of architectural history at Kyoto University, is already known to the Arte Sella public, having created a signature session, Zen Bench, located in the garden of Villa Strobele.
On the occasion of the lecture, the collaboration between Arte Sella and the Order of Architects of Trento will be announced, also highlighting the already structured partnerships with the Polytechnic of Milan and Calchèra San Giorgio, where the event will be hosted.
