Historic building in the heart of the Dolomites

Previously owned by the Barbuio and Gaio families, Villa Francescon is one of the oldest palaces in Mel (Belluno). The central body, in fact, dates back to the fourteenth century, while the wing overlooking Via Mazzini is later.

The complex, recognized as a national heritage site, is one of the oldest buildings in the village and is of great historical and artistic interest. The façade facing the square is painted with sixteenth-century frescoes attributed to the painter Pomponio Amalteo.
