Derived from the crushing or grinding of terracotta, old bricks, tiles, and roof tiles, Cocciopesto is a valuable aggregate that blends tradition, sustainability, and timeless beauty. Selected in various granulometries, it possesses important pozzolanic properties; like pozzolana, when mixed with water and lime, Cocciopesto allows the preparation of mortars and plasters with exceptional resistance and durability.

Lime and Cocciopesto, “Friendly Materials”: combining lime and Cocciopesto gives the mortars made from these two materials hydraulic properties that would not be achieved by using common sands instead of Cocciopesto.
