Biocompatible and environmentally-friendly mortar of pozzolanic hydraulic lime for the structural restoration of historical rubble masonry or similar walls

A mortar of pozzolanic hydraulic lime for consolidating injection. Composed of a hydraulic pozzolanic lime obtained by cold mixing of pure aerial slaked lime with a very high calcium hydrate ratio and selected natural pozzolana, mixed with micronized carbonate aggregates and expansive elements for the plastic settlement control.

It does not contain sulphate, free lime and any traces of clinker; it is highly breathable and it does not alter the steam permeability of the slabs. Free from harmful substances to health and the environment. Recyclable as an inert material at the end of its life.

Fields of application

Pozzolanic lime mortar specific for the structural restoration of historic masonry in stone, brick and in mixed work, rubble masonry or similar (vacuum presence) and in cases where is not possible contain and control mortar dispersion, as foundations and masonry against the ground. Boiacca Iniezione 100 Gel – Calchèra San Giorgio allows to perform localized injection ensuring the permanence of the mortar in the injected area. Given the pozzolanic lime’s remarkable hydraulic character, absence of water-soluble salts, mortar high water vapour diffusion coefficient and the low elastic modulus of the dried artifacts, Boiacca Iniezione 100 Gel – Calchèra San Giorgio is ideal for the structural consolidation of historic walls and for filling losses even under critical conditions with disintegrating materials and in damp and crumbling sites.
