Consolidating mortar of pozzolanic hydraulic lime for frescoes and historical plasters restoration

Restoration mortar with a low specific weight for consolidating injections of frescoes and historical plasters. Composed of pozzolanic hydraulic lime obtained by the cold mixing of aerial lime with a high calcium hydrate ratio and selected natural pozzolana, mixed with micronized silica and carbonate aggregates.

It does not contain sulphate, free lime and any traces of clinker; it is highly breathable and it does not alter the steam permeability of the handwork. Free from substances harmful to health and environment. Recyclable as an inert material at the end of its life.

Fields of application

Pozzolanic lime mortar specific for the restoration of plasters of historical and cultural interest, frescoes and wall paintings. Given the marked hydraulic character of pozzolanic lime, the absence of soluble salts, the high degree of diffusivity of the mortar and the low elastic modulus, it is ideal for topping up gaps and filling missing volumes even in critical conditions where there is disintegration of the material and in humid and deteriorated sites.
