Consolidating primer based on lime water

A liquid lime water-based, calcium hydrate solution in saturated suspension in water, obtained by burning stringently-selected pure limestone at a low temperature (about 850-900°).

Natural antibacterial, very breathable, resistant to the formation of mold and bacteria.

Fields of application

To be used for the consolidation of pulverizing plasters and handiworks, and as the basecoat for very absorbent plasters. Ideal on supports such as old or new lime-based plasters and mineral substrates in general. Permeable to water vapour, and highly resistant to atmospheric agents, light and UV radiation. It can be used both outside and inside.

Indicative consumption

0.1-0.2 l/m ² depending on basecoat absorption / 0.06-0.12 l/m ² As a dilution, variable depending on dilution percentage, number of layers, type of substrate and the desired effect. An accurate assessment can be done only after sampling
