Universal levelling mortar of natural hydraulic lime

Pre-packaged mortar in powder, mineral, breathable, eco-sustainable and bio-compatible, composed of natural hydraulic lime NHL 5 and selected calcareous-siliceous aggregates in continuous particle size curve, natural reinforcing microfibres and specific additives to improve rheological function. Absolutely free of any form of clinker.

The binder contained in this mortar is a natural hydraulic lime NHL 5, compliant with standard EN 459-1 obtained by burning national marlstone, rich in silica, at a low temperature (≤1000°C). This product is burned following traditional methods, which make the compound adhere to surfaces extremely well. It is fairly elastic (low elastic modulus), highly transpiring and with a strong resistance to alkaline, mould and bacteria formation. Free from substances harmful to health and environment. Recyclable as an inert material at the end of its life.

Fields of application

The main characteristic of Rasante’900 – Calchèra San Giorgio is the strong adhesive capacity, meaning the product is able to adhere to inhomogeneous bases even in the presence of old paints, facilitating the creation of a homogeneous surface in terms of appearance and absorption, suitable for subsequent finishing treatment.
