Mineral fixative of silica sol and potassium silicate

Silica sol and liquid potassium silicate-based binder, used to dilute Siligrund – Calchèra San Giorgio and Silifarbe – Calchèra San Giorgio silicate paints.

For fixing and consolidating plasters and powdery mineral substrates and as a primer for highly absorbent plasters. Water vapour permeable, with high characteristics to atmospheric agents, to light and UV radiation.

Fields of application

Silifix – Calchèra San Giorgio is used to dilute Siligrund – Calchèra San Giorgio and Silifarbe – Calchèra San Giorgio silicate paints. For fixing and consolidating plasters and powdery mineral substrates and as a primer for highly absorbent plasters. It is perfect on new or old lime plasters, and on mineral base in general. It can be used both inside and outside.

Indicative consumption

As preliminary fixing layer: 0,1 – 0,2 Lt/m2 depending on the substrate absorption.
As dilution for Silifarbe / Siligrund – Calchèra San Giorgio: 0,03 Lt/m2
An exact assessment can only be made after sampling.
