Rice husk sale, how to reuse waste

Italy boasts the European record in rice production. It is estimated that for each ton of processed rice , approximately 270 kg of waste is produced, including 200 kg of husk and 70 kg of chaff, in addition, of course, to straw. 

This is why in the context of rice husk sales, husk is the waste obtained following the husking of raw rice and is widely used in various sectors including construction . The husk, in fact, is 45% made up of cellulose, is light and voluminous and is not attacked by mould. 

Thanks to these qualities, an insulation based on rice husk ash has been produced for several years. But specifically, in construction, it is used for example to produce a mortar for subfloor screeds thanks to the mixing of rice husk and natural lime. 

Rice husk for sale as plaster

The reduced load of this material makes it perfect for the restoration of both private buildings and historic buildings. The finishing plaster, in particular, is breathable and bio-sustainable. Composed of aerial lime, micronized natural pozzolans and stone powders, as well as rice husk, with the addition of specific additives that serve to improve its rheological function.

This type of finish is particularly suitable for interventions in which you want to give the surfaces a certain aesthetic effect, as for example happens with natural-coloured finishing mortar. Breathable and hygroscopic, it is specific for those green building interventions in which the healthiness of the environments is to be guaranteed .
